Wanted!
Here is the poster up on the newsagents window as promised by the kind and noble newsagent man. Alas, thus far it has come to naught with not one single slovo of a response to the master... :(
Dedicated to Kenton Bar Estate and the Kenton Bar Pyramid. Situated to the north west of Newcastle Upon Tyne. Kenton Bar is a housing estate that is part of Kenton Ward in Newcastle upon Tyne, England. It is situated next to North Kenton, Cragston Park and Cowgate. It was the product of the architectural partnership Gordon Ryder and Peter Yates. The blog is particularly interested in the architecture of the estate and also to hear anecdotes from Kenton Bar residents past and present
I was up there last week but forgot to look for it. I did find a blue light in the bushes on the lower retaining wall near the lower flats but no sign of one in the ramp area.
ReplyDelete(There are two obvious blue lights on the upper side of the retaining wall near the playground equipment.
I also notice that KBPS has a new entrance, replacing that silly sticky-out cupboard off the Hall that they used to keep the five sided dinner tables in.
Tell me more of these 3 blue lights and I will seek out these lights and photograph them...what were they for again?
