Anyone remember the time a kid called Norman discovered the body of a 'tramp' in the undergrowth on the middle of the big roundabout at the top of Kenton Bar?apparently he had been there some weeks...

  13. I was playing around with a new comments system from a third party and it mysteriously posted a lot of comments from the past - about 75 of them all at 2:34 PM on April 13th. Needless to say I won;t be using that system..............

  14. spent 3 hours searching 1975 looking for it in the Journal archives at city library...to no avail...fergie etc:can you remember what time of year it was?-winter/spring/summer/autumn?-this will narrow the search...if you give me this info I will try the evening chronicle archive-it would help enormously if we can narrow down the search period...
