Kenton Triumphant

Name the cup.

Name the year.

I know one of them - far right hand side, Machiavellian smile, lizard eyes, domed stupid melon hair - Phil Leaver.  He once played for Newcastle United.

  1. For some reason I'm getting the name Stephen Foster for number 2(the goalkeeper)...number 5 is Steven Burke...number 9 might be Garry Hogg...

    1. No 2 is indeed the Goalkeeper. .Steven Burke is number 5 and has confirmed the goalie is Steven Jones. No 9 definitely Gary Hogg. No idea as to t'others. Shall ask Steven Burke to shed more light.

  2. 3/11th of the team are from Kenton Bar at least(11 at the back is not visible)...that is 30% of the team...
Note how ears at that time were not to be seen...had to be covered...possible a legacy of the 1960's reaction against conformity, the 1950's and national service type haircuts... in my opinion these haircuts are grotesque, and impared learning...they couldn't listen to the teacher,,,
