Rhetorical questions about the pyramid

When it snowed, did the snow lie on the pyry, or did it just either
a)not lie due to the cold 1" grey tiling or
b) slide off when enough of it fell due to the 45 degree vertices?...

Did the pyry always feel cold to the touch or did the 1" tiles heat up in the sun?...

What was the sound of the water falling off the blue bit into the lake bit like,
a trickling stream, a cascading waterfall or a raging torrent of floodwater?...

Were the residents consulted before they made the decision to demolish the pyramid?...

Was the pyramid an integral part of the design of the estate?, or was it added on a whim of one or both of the architects?...

avid readers, please feel free to add any other rhetorical questions...

  1. The water was loud right next to it, a very splashy roar.

The tiles got warm in the sun on the south face in summer.

I can't remember any snow on it.

The shopping zone was always intended to be a key area (remember it was going to have a Pub and possibly even a Church) and I imagine something was pencilled in for there but maybe the pyramid evolved from Norgas House. The brutalist approach would have been to just have a small concrete rectangle where the water emerged.

  2. Recently I chance meeting with someone who still lives on the estate and I can tell you that apparently the residents were NOT consulted about the decision to murder our beloved pyramid...it was just done...maybe they put a demolition order on near the wonder ?
More, the reasons to demolish were 2 fold:
    a) the vandalism(tar, etc...in my opinion historical art) had rendered the pyramid unsightly to the layman...
    b) looks like the compensation culture thing kicked in:apparently there were a couple of 'accidents' when people tried to climb the pyry or fell off the blue bit...unfortunatly claims were then made so the council decided to terminated our beloved pyry :(
