Mensforths photo of 4th picture of 8th wonder of the world

My photo has more detail, in that you can see the full image of the woman(note the 60's minskirt!) and the Ryder and Yates reference in calling the estate North Kenton Estate, not as it became, 'Kenton Bar Estate'...

    am I repeating meinself but how could it have been called 'North Kenton Estate' when there already was a North Kenton, which is due east of Kenton Bar, so therefore 'West Kenton Estate' may have been more apt. However, Kenton Bar lies north west of the true Kenton area, so should it have been 'North West Kenton Estate'?, but that sounds odd...hmmm....

    I don't actually recall anywhere being called South, East or West Kenton...

kenton bar football team 1974-75

Here is a photo I found during more extensive research in a library... I remember the football team played for the 'Bagnall Cup' and played 'derbys' v St Cuthbert’s and also v Mountfield, North Fawdon, Wyndham, Montague and Snow Street (we and everyone else always thrashed Snow Street at least 12-0-their home pitch was at an angle of 45 degrees...) Note the' flag pennants' which were inspired by the Leeds United strip from the 1973-74 season on the socks of some of the kids in the front row...these had the numbers of the players on. the 10 first team players are all wearing the blue top with yellow hoop:the' subs' are wearing... whatever! It looks like they must have won the Bagnall cup that year! Anyone recognise themselves or any of the players?... (The tecka is Mr Brownlaw, a true gentleman...) Name the cup. Name the year.   I know one of them - far right hand side, Machiavellian smile, lizard eyes, domed stupid melon hair - Phil Leaver.  He once played for Newcastle United.
