Why?

Why?...why did they build a pyramid on Kenton Bar Estate?...was there machination to the machiavellian mind of the architect?...what was it all about?...does anyone know?...

  1. Why? To recreate a continental Cafe culture town square environment in the heart of Town Planner Paradise. It was to give a focus to the Estate and brutalism was in, so a Pyramid was probably easier and cheaper than a cube.

After all, the Civic Centre had babbling brooks and it certainly made a statement. That statement was, unfortunately, to rapidly become "EPIC FAIL" though.

The six sheets of bullet proof glass on the ramp- the first one was broken by the third night, despite it being supposedly impossible to do so.

  2. This mindless wanton vandalism...(sigh)As Orwell said,
'if there is hope, it lies with the proles'...not :(

However Shades, I beg to differ with the 'epic fail' bit...The pyry was, without a shadow of a doubting Thomas the 8th wonder of the world...I loved, and will always love her...I miss her... :(

  3. I do believe the pyramid was a way to communicate with the aliens that besiege our humble earth. Inside was an interossitor with a flux capacitor drive. The beam of energy was emitted from the apex of the pyramid and conveyed information about the residents of Newcastle to the aliens - patiently listening. hence - they have never visited the earth.........

  4. So are you saying that if the pyramid had been built up at the top(posh) blue tory zone, where they would have been able to have observe/listen to the likes of Britt, rather than down at the border shops betwixt posh(blue)and green(good) normal zone then they would have made first contact?...how dare you...how very dare you... :(

  5. For sure if they had heard the highbrow conversations from the likes of Brit, Fergy and Finn they would be here now....
