Smoking out of the top of her head....
Lived on my street........
Mother often to be seen at the dining room window, fag in hand, with hand on head. Looked like she was smoking out of the top of her head. In background Father could be seen supping can after can of McEwans Export and also smoking and waxing lyrical on the "schmell of de schmoke" and other cal and nonsense - this time using his mouth. Grandmother of said family nattering on in background like mood-music. She was deaf as a post I am told - bit of a nautical type.
The fag-head-smoker also used to flick the fag ash into her slippers when the ashtray was full. Stylish on KBE or what?
