Level 7

Image
Hello... Once upon a time, long long ago the Master & I used to go to a secondhand bookshop in North Shields...there in the dusty dark bookshelves we chanced upon this wonderful book...( we actually found 2 copies there and we bought them, one for each of us... ) alongside Anthony Burgess's 'Clockwork Orange' was a book that moved us deeply, and advanced our education...so we recommend it to you( master, is it available on Kindle?...indeed is glorious Clockwork Orange available? ) This image shows the edition I possess to this day... [edited b El Patron] They are both indeed available on Kindle I suggest you read it... More here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Level_7 'It was a World so fresh and fair As e'er revolved round sun in air;... The Hour arrived-and it became A wandering mass of shapeless flame, A pathless Comet and a Curse, The Menace of the Universe... A bright deformity on high, The monster of the upper sky!' Lord Byron

The blog received yet another email from the' another anonymous tortured soul ', our new regular contributor...yet more tales(7 terrible tales to be exact) of horribleness, ghastly deeds, disorder, dreadfulness, chaos and abject stupidity... However, having proof read them as ordered to by the Master I was shocked and trembling and in tears... we are not sure that thou, our beloved fragile readers can cope with them...we therefore share only the titles of these dreadful posts, and ask thou to comment to say whether thou doth wish us to post them or whether thou doth not, for we do not wish to affend thee...If 7 readers wish us to unlock Pandora's Box then it shall be opened...however if not then the box shall remain closed for all eternity: 1. Gym riot 2.Smash it up and burn it down 3. The boy from Lapland and the golf ball attack 4.Hammer hoy 5.Flamy fire 6. Dog ***** flinging 7.Brendon Chase whistle B.A.B

Shades sketch of our beloved pyramid and surrounding area 2

We changed our mind..we deemed Shades second 'doodle' well worthy of upping on the blog as we are sure you will agree...most wonderful...Note the cascading water coming down off the blue bit directly down from the pyramid...the sides of the ramp were concrete at the bottom then 2 metal top bits just before the walls as can clearly be seen(why?)...underneath these were like glass(?) panels(perhaps so you could see down into the 2 lakes?...actually 1 as the water ran under the ramp)...2 blue rectangular lights down the bottom of the left wall made the illumination of the water/most beautiful I'm sure,on a flip dark chill winter notchy though dry... though my memory is vague...great accuracy in the drawing of the step pyramid...note the trap door to the right of the glorious pyramid... remember also the duff of death which only one mortal I ever knew could do...run along the top concrete walls to the left of the ramp or right of the ramp, leap like a gazelle across the void of

Dulux Dog – anyone remember him?

Take a look back in time to this post - HERE I was reminded of the Dulux Dog. The Dulux Dog (probably actually called Shep or something) was one of those fucking massive Old English Sheepdogs. He was owned by someone in Rob Wilkinson’s street. To a young kid it seemed gigantic and was often roaming free in the streets bounding up to you and barking and fooling on I was shite scared I tell you. The owners used to shave it once a year – a bit like your granny.
